Local Intel
Moving a group around Austin is a logistics problem first and a driving job second. The wheel time is the easy part. What actually decides the night is where you're allowed to stop, how long the exit takes, and which road has already seized up by the time you finish dinner. We do this for a living. Here's the honest picture.
Where you can actually pull up
Most of the big venues won't let a private vehicle stop anywhere near where you'd want it. Circuit of the Americas during an F1 weekend? No private drop on COTA Blvd, period. The rideshare hub sits at the McAngus Road Depot, which is a 15-minute walk or a free tram ride to the Grand Plaza gate. Q2 Stadium funnels every drop-off and pickup to Delta Drive on the east side. ACL staging happens under the MoPac Pedestrian Bridge at Veterans, Lee Barton, and Wallingwood, plus a spot on Stephen F. Austin by the Austin High tennis courts. Moody Center wants you over by the Manor Garage or East 20th. Knowing the right gate before you roll up is half the job.
The exits and the toll routing
It's the leaving that wrecks a group night, not the arriving. Official COTA lots take 2 to 4 hours to clear on a race Sunday, and Lot T can sit past three. The move is to hang back an hour and approach from the right direction. From the north, Kellam Rd off Hwy 71 skips the Elroy and FM 812 gridlock entirely. Across town, evening rush on I-35 and MoPac is the ugliest window of the day, and that I-35 stretch between US-183 and Airport Blvd ranks among the slowest corridors in the whole state. We run SH 130 on the east side to dodge a big chunk of it, and yes, the toll's on us. Our regulars know exactly what that buys them.
The Chauffeured Experience
Here's how a group day runs with us. You book the car and the chauffeur for a block of hours, and we're with you the entire time. Hourly, as-directed, with a minimum booking. Nobody's watching a meter. Nobody's calling a fresh car for every leg of the night. One chauffeur, one vehicle, on your clock and no one else's.
For most groups that's the Flagship Jetliner Sprinter. It seats up to 10, and honestly it's built as much for the time between stops as the stops themselves. Starlink Wi-Fi for the half of you who still can't put work down. Climate everyone can actually agree on. Privacy glass, premium audio, and enough room to talk to each other instead of yelling across three separate rideshares. Tighter crew, or a more buttoned-up evening? The 2025 Cadillac Escalade takes up to 6 with the same climate and the same sound. Complimentary water and ice ride along in either vehicle, and you're welcome to bring your own for guests 21 and over.
The timing is where we earn the booking. We stage off the main strip so you're never stuck idling in a single-lane jam. Rainey is the textbook case: one stalled car and the whole street locks up for minutes. We build the toll routing around the evening crush, and we'll tell you exactly when to pull out of a venue to beat the worst of the exit. For the marquee events, where parking close to the gate is the thing that makes or breaks the night, we can coordinate buying venue parking access ahead of time so the car waits near the action. That one's arranged case by case, and we'll be straight with you about what's actually doable.

Why The Jetliner
Questions, answered
How does booking group transportation work?
It's hourly as-directed with a minimum booking. You reserve the car and chauffeur for a block of time, and we stay with your group the whole outing, moving on your schedule. This isn't a one-way drop, so you're never standing around waiting for the next car between stops.
How many people can you carry?
The Flagship Jetliner Sprinter seats up to 10, which keeps most groups together in one vehicle. Smaller party of six or fewer? Then it's the 2025 Cadillac Escalade. Tell us the headcount and the kind of night you're after, and we'll point you at the right one.
Can you handle multiple stops in one outing?
Absolutely. That's the entire point of as-directed. Dinner, then a show, then drinks on Rainey, then home. Same chauffeur and same vehicle the whole way through, and we plan the staging and timing at each stop so the handoffs stay quick.
What about parking and drop-off at big venues like COTA or Moody Center?
Most major venues limit where a private vehicle can stop, so we use the designated zones and stage close by. McAngus Depot for COTA. The Manor Garage area for Moody. For the largest events we can coordinate buying venue parking access ahead of time so the car sits closer to the gate. We set that up case by case.
Do the tolls cost extra?
No. The toll roads are on us, SH 130 and the 183A and 130 routing included, all part of the service. We take those routes to keep your group clear of the I-35 and MoPac slowdowns, and they really matter during the evening rush.
Can we bring drinks for the group?
Complimentary water and ice are already aboard. Bring your own for guests 21 and over if you'd like. The Sprinter's got the space and the climate control to keep everyone comfortable between stops.
How far in advance should we book?
The earlier the better, especially around F1 weekend, ACL, and Austin FC matchdays, when demand jumps and venue access has to be lined up well in advance. Call 737-200-5252 and we'll map the outing and lock in your car.
What vehicle options are available for group transportation, and what are their capacities?
We offer the Mercedes Sprinter, which accommodates up to 10 passengers and 8 bags, and the 2025 Cadillac Escalade, designed for up to 6 passengers.
What service options are available for groups needing on-demand or flexible transportation throughout their event?
Group outings run as hourly charters, with the same chauffeur and vehicle staged nearby for the entire booking, ready whenever the plan moves. We also run direct airport transfers when your group flies in or out.
What are the policies regarding refreshments and bringing beverages on board?
We provide complimentary water and ice. BYOB is permitted for ages 21+. Smoking is prohibited on board.
