Local Intel
If your day runs through downtown, the old assumptions don't hold anymore. I-35 stopped being a dependable artery a while back, and the Capital Express Central project turned a bad situation into a worse one. It runs through 2029. Crews are closing a northbound lane overnight, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., from Oltorf up to Holly. The MLK bridge dropped from four lanes to three. The main lanes get squeezed between the 15th Street and Manor Road exits. Back in February they shut the Riverside exit (233) and the Holly Street on-ramp (234A) for good while the Lady Bird Lake bridge gets rebuilt, and now you're detouring through Woodland, Cesar Chavez, or Oltorf to get where you're going. Show up not knowing any of that and you've lost twenty minutes that weren't in your plan.
When the city actually clogs
The bad stretches are no mystery. Early morning, 5 to 8. A midday pinch, roughly 11 to 1. Then the long evening crawl from 3:30 to 5:30, which is the real killer. So we build the schedule against those windows. We don't pretend they aren't sitting right there on the calendar.
Curb space is shrinking, too
Congress Avenue is getting torn up and rebuilt block by block, Cesar Chavez to 7th, and that goes through summer 2027. Add the Convention Center rebuild, which has lanes shut on Trinity, Red River, and East 2nd and 3rd until the end of 2028. Translation: a lot of downtown addresses no longer have anywhere to actually pull in at the door. We track the live closure picture daily and work out the approach before the key turns. March is its own beast. SXSW closes off huge pieces of downtown, and we're mapping executive movement around it weeks out.
The Chauffeured Experience
Here's how a day actually runs. You book the car and chauffeur by the hour, there's a minimum, and we're with you start to finish. No drop-off. None of that "text us when you're done." Your vehicle and your driver sit parked, fueled, climate already dialed in, waiting on your next move. Your schedule, not ours.
Picture it. A 9 a.m. at an office off Congress. Lunch with a client clear across town. Two meetings in the afternoon, then dinner before a late flight. We map the whole thing the night before: where the car stages between stops, which approach dodges the closed curb, what time we pull out to beat the 3:30 wall. Your 2 o'clock runs forty minutes long? The car's still right there. Want to take a call before you walk in? You've got a quiet back seat and the door held for you.
Out-of-town days work the same way. An Austin schedule that swings down to San Antonio or over to Houston, the car doesn't drop you and vanish. It stays, and it works on your clock. We run SH 130 and SH 45 to skip the I-35 grind. Those southern toll segments post 85, and on-time arrival into San Antonio beats the interstate by a wide margin. Tolls are covered and cashless. You never touch them.
Single rider or a small team, most of that work rides in the 2025 Cadillac Escalade. Up to six, climate control, premium audio, plenty of room to open a laptop. Moving a bigger group, or hauling a board to an offsite? The Flagship Jetliner Sprinter seats up to ten with Starlink Wi-Fi, real privacy, and climate control, so the conversation keeps going between stops. Water and ice are on board. Bring your own bottle for guests 21 and up if you like. And for a big event or a venue with tight access, we'll arrange parking access so the car stages close. That part we sort out case by case.

Why The Jetliner
Questions, answered
Is this a one-way or do you stay with me?
We stay. Executive service is hourly and as-directed with a minimum, so your chauffeur and vehicle are with you the whole outing, parked and ready between stops. We don't drop you off and disappear.
Can the car wait between meetings?
Yes. That's the entire point of it. While you're inside, the car stages nearby with the climate already set. Walk out and it's there. You're never waiting on us, and there's no re-booking between stops.
How do you handle downtown construction and traffic?
We plan the route before you ever get in. We're tracking the live I-35 closures, the Congress and Convention Center work, the rush windows, and we time departures and run SH 130 and SH 45 to stay clear of the worst of it.
What about a trip to San Antonio or Houston for the day?
Same deal. The car stays with you and works on your schedule instead of dropping you off. We route via the toll roads to get around I-35, tolls are covered, and you just tell us when you want to head back.
Which vehicle will I be in?
Most executive work goes in the 2025 Cadillac Escalade, comfortable for up to six. Moving a larger group or a board? The Flagship Jetliner Sprinter seats up to ten and has Starlink Wi-Fi, so the team keeps working between stops.
How do I book, and how far ahead?
Call 737-200-5252 or request a quote at thejetliner.com. For a full business day, or anything landing during SXSW, give us as much notice as you can so we can lock the schedule and plan the staging. We'll confirm the hourly minimum when we set it up.
How does The Jetliner Austin support my need for productivity and discretion during executive transit?
Our executive black car service is built for both. Your chauffeur reads the room for discretion, the cabin stays quiet, and the Flagship Jetliner Sprinter adds Starlink Wi-Fi, dual LCD screens with Apple TV, and a privacy partition for a truly mobile boardroom. The 2025 Cadillac Escalade keeps solo executives working in captain seating with premium audio.
For dynamic business schedules with multiple meetings or locations, how does your service ensure continuous availability and flexibility?
We specialize in hourly charters, which means your dedicated vehicle and driver remain securely on-site or nearby for immediate access throughout your engagements. We also provide direct airport transfers.
What vehicle options are available for my team, and what is the geographic scope of your executive black car service?
For your team, we offer the Mercedes Sprinter, which accommodates up to 10 passengers and 8 bags, or the 2025 Cadillac Escalade for up to 6 passengers. Our service covers the greater Austin area, including Hill Country, COTA, and regional transit to Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.
