Local Intel

Around Austin you've really got two private fields in play, and they couldn't drive more differently. Most traffic lands at Austin-Bergstrom (AUS). The three FBOs there sit almost door to door: Atlantic Aviation at 4309 Emma Browning Ave, Signature Flight Support at 4321, and Million Air at 4801, all on the same street inside the airport campus off SH 71. The other option is Austin Executive (KEDC), the dedicated jet field out in Pflugerville, where Henriksen Jet Center runs the show at 6012 Aviation Dr. Call it 14 miles from downtown. Same distance, totally different trip, since it's northeast of town instead of southeast.

The one thing every AUS regular watches: SH 71

SH 71 is it. One road in, one road out, and no real bypass to fall back on. Put a wreck on the eastbound approach and the whole thing stacks up for hours. A private terminal does nothing to save you from that. We've watched clients leave with a fat cushion and still get pinned to the seat. So when we plan a tail number, we build the timing around the road first and wheels-up second.

Construction you're driving through in 2026

Emma Browning Ave, the very street the AUS FBOs live on, has on-and-off lane closures running through December 2026. That's the midfield taxiway work on the old South Terminal site. The South Terminal itself shut for good at the end of March, dumping all that commercial traffic into the Barbara Jordan Terminal and thickening up the main drop-off. We steer around the worst of it. Coming from the north, the northeast, or anything bound for Austin Executive, we ride SH 130, the 85-mph east-side bypass, and stay off I-35 through downtown completely. That rebuild isn't ending anytime soon.

The Chauffeured Experience

Here's how we run an FBO pickup. We're tracking your tail number, not eyeballing a printed itinerary, so the car is already staged at the ramp before you finish taxiing in. None of that public cell-phone-lot dance you get with commercial. We roll up to Atlantic, Signature, or Henriksen, your chauffeur's already out and waiting, bags get handled, and you're moving a couple minutes after stepping off.

Departures work in reverse, and they're just as tight. We start from the FBO's preferred arrival window and back the clock out from there, through the traffic. Say you're leaving downtown for AUS in the 4:30 to 7:00 grind, or coming off the southwest side through the Oak Hill Y. We'll put you on the SH 71 Express lane and free-flow you past the signalized approach. Headed to Austin Executive from the north side or out of Round Rock? SH 130, clean of the I-35 mess. Either way, you're not sitting in the back doing math on whether you'll make it.

Chauffeured the whole way, start to finish. Couple flying private with a few bags? The 2025 Cadillac Escalade is the easy pick: seats six, climate dialed in, good audio. Got a group, or you want to actually get some work done between wheels-down and the office? The Flagship Jetliner Sprinter takes up to ten, runs Starlink Wi-Fi, gives you real privacy, and leaves room to spread out. Water and ice are aboard either vehicle, no charge, and bring your own bottle if everyone's 21 and up.

And if the day doesn't stop at the airport, meetings, a venue with a nightmare of an entrance, just say so when you book. We'll move you onto hourly as-directed and keep the same car and the same chauffeur with you all day, running on your clock.

Two vehicles, one calendar. Event weekends go first.

Why The Jetliner

01

Flight tracking on your tail number

We watch the real arrival, not the time printed on a schedule. Land early or slip late and the car's already where it needs to be. You don't make a single call.

02

Ramp-side meet and greet

Your chauffeur is standing at Atlantic, Signature, or Henriksen with hands free for the bags. Step off, and you're rolling within minutes.

03

We route around the SH 71 chokepoint

One road into AUS, live construction on Emma Browning all through 2026. We plan timing and toll routing around that instead of crossing our fingers for a clear approach.

04

Toll roads covered

SH 71 Express to skip the airport-approach backup. SH 130 to bypass I-35 on the north-side and Austin Executive runs. Tolls are on us, built into keeping you moving.

05

Right vehicle for the party

2025 Escalade for up to six traveling light, or the Flagship Jetliner Sprinter for up to ten with Starlink Wi-Fi and room to work on the way in.

06

Both Austin private fields

The AUS FBOs on Emma Browning, plus Austin Executive (KEDC) and Henriksen Jet Center out in Pflugerville. We know the access points and the drive times for each one cold.

Questions, answered

Which Austin airports and FBOs do you serve?

Both private fields. At Austin-Bergstrom (AUS) we cover Atlantic Aviation at 4309 Emma Browning Ave, Signature Flight Support at 4321, and Million Air at 4801. We also run Austin Executive (KEDC) out in Pflugerville, where Henriksen Jet Center is the FBO at 6012 Aviation Dr.

How do you handle an early or delayed arrival?

We track your tail number directly, so we see the actual arrival and shift the staging time to match. Land early and the car's already there. Flight slips, we hold, and you don't need to call. You won't get billed for sitting through a delay that wasn't yours.

Do you meet us inside the FBO?

Yes. Your chauffeur stages at the ramp and meets you coming off the aircraft, then takes the bags. Private terminals skip the public cell-phone lot entirely, so there's no shuffle. You're moving in a few minutes.

How early do you arrive for a departure to the FBO?

We work back from the FBO's preferred arrival window, then back again from the traffic on your route at that time of day. A 5 p.m. run into AUS gets a bigger cushion than a mid-morning one, all because of the SH 71 approach. The pickup time we give you lands you there without the scramble.

Are tolls included, and which routes do you use?

Tolls are covered. We use the SH 71 Express lane to get past the signalized approach into AUS, and SH 130 to skip I-35 completely on north-side, northeast, and Austin Executive runs. You'll never see a separate toll line on anything.

Can the airport run turn into a full day of driving?

It can. The FBO pickup and drop-off is our point-to-point service, but if you want the car for meetings or an event after, we move you onto hourly as-directed with a minimum booking. Same car, same chauffeur, on call and on your schedule the whole day.
