The Oak Hill Parkway project reopened the eastbound 290 mainlanes in February 2026, so you've now got a straight run between downtown and Dripping Springs that skips the old signals. Old Fitzhugh is running one-way through construction if your venue is out that direction. No public transit reaches any of this. And rideshare? It dries up fast at rural venues once the night gets late. That gap, right there, is why couples book transport in the first place.
